Dear Lakeside Community,
We hope that this message finds you and your loved ones safe as this challenging health crisis impacts our communities.
In the interest of public safety, and in compliance with the City's latest mandate, the LeFrak Center at Lakeside will be closed to the public effective March 18th. This includes all public ice skating as well as skate school and hockey related programming.
While we understand how these disruptions affect our Lakeside community, the health and well-being of all of you and our staff is our highest priority. We will be closely monitoring this situation as events and news continue to unfold, and will keep you apprised of plans for a reopening. You can also visit our website for the latest information at lakesidebrooklyn.com
For skaters that participated in session 3, we are happy to offer a credit for the 3 missed classes that can be used towards either spring/summer roller skating classes or fall 2020 ice skating season programming.
In addition we will be happy to offer a 10% discount on a fall/winter program to all participants that have been affected by the cancellation of session 3 classes.
If you have specific questions about COVID-19, please visit the NYC Department of Health website or contact the New York Coronavirus hotline at 888-364-3065. You can also text COVID to 692-692 to receive regular SMS texts with the latest news and developments from Notify NYC. Please note that Lakeside has not had any reported cases of COVID-19 to date.
While we are sad that we will not get to finish the last remaining weeks of winter programs, we look forward to when we can welcome you and your families back to Lakeside for more wonderful memories.
We will continue to provide updates and information as it becomes available but if you have any immediate questions, please email us at email@example.com
Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you for your continued support!
The Lakeside Team
